Housebuilder Awards

 

WINNER: HOUSEBUILDER OF THE YEAR

In November 2011 the William Lacey Group collected the top award of ‘Housebuilder of the Year’ in the small/medium category for their ‘commitment to innovation, improvement and excellence to the benefit of customers, employees, clients and suppliers’. The award was presented by TV personality Alexander Armstrong.

 

Best Low or Carbon initiative

The Brookwood Farm development collected the award for having ‘demonstrated the best low or zero carbon initiative’ in the country. The new homes feature improved insulation, air tightness and renewable energy technologies.

Local Authority Building Control Award

 

WINNER: BEST SUSTAINABLE DESIGN

Brookwood Farm, a development of ten semi-detached and two detached homes built by William Lacey Group in partnership with Woking Borough Homes collected the top award for the Best Sustainable Design in the Local Authority Building Control Excellence (South East) competition. The development was one of the first in the country to achieve a Level 5 rating from the Code for Sustainable Homes, which measures sustainability of a home against specific design categories and provides a mark of quality and assurance for home buyers.
