We recently received a resolution to grant planning approval for 8 no. three and four bed semi detached dwellings backing onto the Hoe Valley Nature Reserve. Part of the scheme involves the complete renovation of Hunts Farmhouse itself, a Grade 11 listed building dating back to the 16th Century.
We are currently expecting planning approval during the first half of 2021 with works starting towards the end of the year.
At the committee meeting Councillor Aziz said "8 family units are welcomed. This is a perfect application with more than enough parking and with well-designed houses. Access has been considered carefully. Perfect and very welcome." Councillor Boot added "New NPPF allowing infill in Green Belt. Appropriate infill should be allowed. 8 lovely new houses in a cul de sac with parking that exceeds parking standards. This was a site that was used as a dumping ground for old cars….this is a great improvement"
